AI Disclaimer
Effective date: 2026-04-30 Last updated: 2026-04-30
This AI Disclaimer explains what the Wardly AI outputs are, what they are not, and how you should and should not rely on them. It is part of our Terms of Service. Wardly is operated by WDF SOLUTIONS LTD (Companies House SC437083) and made available at wdfsolutioons.com.
Please read this in full before acting on anything the Service produces.
1. What the Service produces
When you upload photos of rooms in your home, Wardly uses generative AI models to produce visualizations, including:
- Annotated maps that highlight areas the model has classified as possible blind spots.
- Before-and-after comparison images.
- Short simulation videos, including an "intruder point-of-view" rendering.
- Text suggestions for camera placement, lighting, and sight lines.
These outputs are designed to help you have better planning conversations about your home — with family members, with a contractor, or with a licensed security professional.
2. Outputs are informational, not advice
The Wardly outputs are informational visualizations only. They are not professional advice. They are not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified human expert who can physically inspect your home, assess local risk factors, evaluate your specific situation, and design a security plan that fits.
You are solely responsible for any decision or action you take based on the outputs.
3. We do not guarantee accuracy
Generative AI is imperfect. The outputs may:
- Miss real blind spots, sight-line issues, or vulnerabilities that exist in your home.
- Highlight "blind spots" that are not actually risks.
- Misinterpret photos, especially where lighting is poor, photos are blurred, or rooms are crowded with objects.
- Reflect assumptions baked into the underlying training data that may not match your jurisdiction, building style, or threat model.
- Produce inconsistent outputs across runs, even from the same input.
We do not warrant that the outputs are accurate, complete, current, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose. You must independently verify anything you intend to act on.
4. You must independently verify
Before changing how you secure your home, sharing the outputs with a third party, or making any purchase based on the outputs:
- Inspect the area in person. AI cannot replace standing in the room.
- Cross-check with a second source — a licensed security professional, a building survey, or your local police's home-security guidance.
- Test any assumption (for example, by walking the line of sight yourself or having someone you trust do so).
5. Strengthened limitations: what Wardly visualizations are not
This is the most important part of this document. Read it carefully.
Wardly visualizations are not certified security audits and do not replace assessment by a licensed security professional. They are not insurance-grade reports, court-grade evidence, police-grade incident documentation, or post-incident insurance claim documentation. For any of those purposes, consult a licensed security professional.
In plain terms:
- Do not submit a Wardly visualization to your insurer as a security audit, a risk assessment, or as proof that your home meets a policy condition.
- Do not submit a Wardly visualization or simulation video as evidence in a court proceeding, civil claim, criminal trial, or arbitration.
- Do not file a Wardly simulation or annotation as a police report attachment, witness statement, or incident reconstruction.
- Do not rely on a Wardly output to satisfy any regulatory, licensing, or contractual security obligation you have.
- Do not present yourself, or allow anyone else to present themselves, as a Wardly-certified or Wardly-dispatched security professional. We do not certify or dispatch security professionals.
If your need falls into any of the categories above, you must engage a licensed security professional, surveyor, lawyer, insurer, or law-enforcement officer as appropriate. They are trained, regulated, and insured for those purposes. We are not.
6. High-risk uses are prohibited
You agree not to use the Service or its outputs for any of the following high-risk purposes:
- Medical decisions or diagnosis.
- Legal advice, courtroom evidence, or judicial decision-making.
- Financial advice, credit decisions, or investment decisions.
- Employment decisions, including hiring, firing, or evaluating workers.
- Housing eligibility decisions, including tenant screening or lending.
- Insurance underwriting, claim evaluation, or claim documentation.
- Any decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects on a person.
If you are unsure whether your intended use falls into a prohibited category, do not use the Service for that purpose and ask us at support@wdfsolutioons.com.
7. Algorithmic bias
Generative AI models inherit biases from the data they were trained on. Wardly outputs may, for example, work better for certain home styles, lighting conditions, or geographies than others, and may make different assumptions for rooms that look unfamiliar to the model. We work continuously to reduce bias, but we cannot eliminate it. If you experience an output that seems biased, please report it to support@wdfsolutioons.com so we can investigate.
8. AI outputs and people in your photos
If your room photos contain other people (housemates, children, guests), the AI may render them in derived outputs. Do not upload photos of people who have not consented to this. The Acceptable Use Policy contains the full rules.
9. Your responsibility
By using the Service you confirm that:
- You understand the outputs are visualizations, not professional advice.
- You will independently verify anything you intend to act on.
- You will not present the outputs as a certified security audit, insurance report, court evidence, or police report.
- You take full responsibility for any decision or action you take based on the outputs.
- You will not use the outputs for the prohibited high-risk purposes listed above.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wardly is not liable for the outcome of any decision you make based on an AI output. Our liability cap and disclaimer in the Terms of Service apply.
10. Reporting an output you believe is wrong or harmful
If you believe an output is dangerously inaccurate, contains content that should not have been generated, or could harm someone, please contact us at support@wdfsolutioons.com with the project ID and a short description. We treat these reports seriously and we use them to improve the Service.
11. Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this AI Disclaimer from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email and / or in-product at least 14 days before they take effect.
